Importing Charcoal into the U.K.
Are you looking to import charcoal into the U.K?
There doesn’t appear to be any specific documents or licences required to import Charcoal into the UK, however, we would suggest that you speak to the Forestry Commission to see if anything else is required to be able to resell this here in the UK. When the goods are declared to Customs, we usually have to arrange for the local Forestry Commission Officer to inspect the wood, who in turn will issue a PHF28 Certificate of clearance (a more detailed explanation of the clearance/inspection process can be found here: Customs Process of Charcoal
We will need to be notified of when the goods will be arriving at the UK Port, BEFORE they arrive, and we will need clear copies of ALL the documents you have relating to the product(s).
Please contact our Imports Team by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (T) +44 (0)345 309 6360. Thanks. ukimports
Remember : Shipping and Customs clearance doesn't have to be expensive, but choosing the wrong agent could be!™ ukimports.org
